How we work

Our aim is to see a society where no child is orphaned simply because it’s a girl. Female Feticide, treating a girl child as a curse, abusing women are not problems that have one solution. If we want a society where a girl child is wanted and welcomed with love, we need to change attitudes – deep rooted attitudes that take at least one generation to change, if not more. Aarti Home (VFT) has identified various aspects impacting attitudes and is working towards addressing these issues. As a result, Aarti Home is working with community at large impacting various target groups

Children – bringing up abandoned girls and educating children

Women- providing women skill building, legal and medical support, creating economic opportunities for women

Larger Society – Creating awareness and advocacy
