VFT partners with district administration to start 40 bridge schools

May 2009: VFT has been named the primary NGO for 'Sarva Sikshya Abhiyaan', a Government of India initiative that seeks to ensure elementary education for all, for Kadapa District. As a part of the program, VFT is currently ensuring minimum standards in forty bridge schools. VFT is also managing five bridge schools directly. This program will bring back five thousand children back to school.
