May 2009: VFT has been named the primary NGO for 'Sarva Sikshya Abhiyaan', a Government of India initiative that seeks to ensure elementary education for all, for Kadapa District. As a part of the program, VFT is currently ensuring minimum standards in forty bridge schools. VFT is also managing five bridge schools directly. This program will bring back five thousand children back to school.
Aug 2010: Thanks to Mr.Ajit Kamath, Chairman & MD, Arch Pharmalabs Ltd, the children who attend Aarti School will now be ferried back and forth in their very own school bus.

They have been exchanging thoughts and opinions with girls of similar ages at the Newlands School near London. The project has been conceptualised and facilitated by Creative Junction CIC, UK.
