Aarti Cooperative

Aarti Homes has vocational training programs for many underprivileged women in the Kadapa District. Through these programmes, women with no previous experience are trained in tailoring, hand embroidery and machine embroidery.

Additionally, in order to create marketing opportunities for the women, we have set up self help groups in Aarti Home and in surrounding villages. In these centres women tailor and hand embroider home furnishings, accessories and apparel. Custom-made products are also available.

With earnings from their work, these women are not only able to provide additional income but are also able to gain respect in their communities.
